ABOUT DR. PATADIA
(Pa-taa-dee-ya)
Dr. Ushma Patadia was born in Gujarat, India, and moved to Connecticut when she was three years old. While on the east coast, she graduated from NYU with a degree in Public Health and received her DMD degree from the UConn School of Dental Medicine. Wanting to further hone her skills, she completed a rigorous general practice residency program at Hartford Hospital before moving to California.
She prioritizes continued education and participates in the local chapter of the Seattle Study Club, an international organization that prioritizes collaborative and innovative dental care. She is a proud member of the California Dental Association and the Southern Alameda County Dental Society.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Patadia on a hiking trail, in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, or in downtown Livermore grabbing a cup of coffee. Most recently, she’s enjoying the adventure of motherhood. She is a proud resident of Livermore and passionate about serving her community through dentistry.

SINCE CHILDHOOD, Dr. Patadia has found joy in various forms of art, including painting, drawing, embroidery, music, dance, henna, and photography. She pursued dentistry because it is a unique blend of art and science. The clinical knowledge that improves oral health provides the foundation for creating a beautiful smile. Like an artist strives for unique creations, Dr. Patadia believes each patient deserves a uniquely tailored experience with compassionate care. Moving away from corporate & generic dental settings, she created Artisan Dental of Livermore to bring a personalized, handcrafted touch back to modern dentistry.
Our office is anything but generic. From paint colors to cabinet styles, from dental chair upholstery to waiting room furniture, each design choice was made by prioritizing comfort. Little luxuries like noise-cancelling headphones, warm blankets, and refreshments elevate your experience. This intentional philosophy extends to treatment – Dr. Patadia personally sees each patient, whether it’s for a routine cleaning or more complex treatment. She takes pride in getting to know each of her patients so that she can personally tailor a treatment plan that best fits their unique lifestyles.
